β€œHands down the best card shop in the Springs! Don’t walk… run! You’ve got to check these guys out! Just opened in October 2023, Impact is primarily a sports cards and collectibles shop but currently also has a small selection of other cards like Lorcana. The thing that really sets them apart from other shops in the area is the amount of graded cards and older sealed wax that they have for you to choose from. Not only that, they have a website where you can see some of what they have for sale before you go there… so you get a good idea of their pricing and you’re bound to find something that interests you. Ronnie and Brett are really passionate about the hobby and some of the absolute friendliest owners you’re bound to meet. Ronnie was very gracious and took the time to explain each year’s hot rookies and which sealed products were his personal recommendation. As an amateur collector just getting into the hobby, having someone who makes that kind of effort and does so enthusiastically is invaluable. Brett went the extra mile and pulled out some raw cards that he was sorting at the time so I can peruse for my PC. Even though he was doing several things at once, that extra attention to anticipating customer needs/wants was very much appreciated. Prices are very reasonable. Items are marked on the website and most of the graded products will have a set price. Raw cards are currently not priced and they will look up the FMV at the time of interest. Some may not like this model but I thought it was a very fair practice for a new business who undoubtedly has overhead and sunk costs they need to work through. With that said, Ronnie still cut me a deal for buying several cards that I thought was more than fair. If you decide to break/rip in store, they will provide a mat and take the time to sleeve & top load the cards for you (exactly which cards get which is determined by variables like value or RC). Not only that, they also offer prep/grading services and are pursuing becoming a certified location for at least one grading service. I also believe they currently have a consignment program. Additionally, after they get their business established, they will look into things like military discount (they don’t currently have this). Their website shows upcoming events that include trade nights with free pizza. Overall, I really felt well taken care of as a new customer and was thrilled with my purchases. It’s refreshing to have a business with owners like this locally and I can’t wait to come back and rip more product and support these guys.”
