Independent editorial assessment
Millerβs is old schoolβexpect tight aisles, stacks everywhere, and a βdig for goldβ vibe. They’ve got a mix of vintage singles, junk wax, and some newer TCG, but not much in the way of slabs or a modern wall of high-end. Worth a visit if you’re looking to comp some raw ’90s or stumble across oddball PC stuff.

I used to be a customer of Millers for many years. I love TCG and collecting. I love building and making video games for people. I joined multiple studios and helped them release stronger games, like Hogwarts Legacy among others while at WB Games. I loved shopping here, until Rich changed and started making the shopping experience really hard on his customers. Now Rich is nickel and diming you for every penny using locked display cases, QR codes that you can’t scan with your phone, and a staff that is like “buy something or get out of here” attitude that gives off creepy vibes that have just simply changed. I feel bad, but my shopping experience today was so bad that I needed to write about it and reach out so that I can give warning to other shoppers who do their own due diligence about card shops that feel like you’re digging for gold, but now, you’re just a nuisance to them. Not to mention that Rich will make hateful remarks to an Ashkenazi Jewish family because he can’t take the feedback? Well, let me tell you about my shopping experience. I’ve counted my receipts and I’ve spent THOUSANDS at his shop, and so I have EARNED the right to speak about my shopping experience. I shall be as nice as I can and as respectful as I can – the QR Codes – please where do I begin. He claims to have a collection that is nice – but when you try to use the touch screen and actually order some cards, he says “that’ll take hours to fill so come back” and it’s like – I live HOURS away… and that’s not a choice. I am a problem for Rich. He doesn’t want my money anymore. That’s how obtuse this experience feels and why I must vocalize it so that Rich feels the consequences for how he treated an innocent family that wanted to spend money at his store, and he threw out instead because he psychologically descended into an anti-semitic hate fit that frankly – being captured on his CCTV footage – is probably something he is going to try and scrub as fast as possible and claim he doesn’t have the footage of incidents when they take place in his store. He’s lost his mind, sadly, and my business. Now, when I try to get cards there, he won’t sell them to me. Why? Because I am Jewish. That is why. He is just a hateful bigot selling trading cards and now he’s turned on his customers when he founds out that they are only trying to help give shopping experience feedback and just having a peaceful and nice discussion about it. Nope, “You are crazy and don’t know what you are talking about” when it comes to the buying experience. Cards in display cases should have price tags on them daily. That’s not too much to ask. Why is it QR Codes only? For that, the shopping experience has turned into trash. He’ll give you his cooked wifi that will probably watch your phone and download your text messages off from it, so he can look at your photos later – “yeah just connect to the wifi its free” – yeah not gonna do that – I don’t want you connecting to my phone thank you very much – i just want to get some cards. Nope, not from Rich. Rich wants the money first before you can see the card. Literally. The cards are in the WORST condition from him, they have no price transparency and frankly speaking – they gaslight you when you walk in even if you have spent THOUSANDS with them. Rich knows my name, but I had to look his name up. I thought it was Miller. Afterall, it’s Miller’s Comics and he’s the owner. Who is Miller? I felt so betrayed and mistreated today in the visit. I loved going in and spending money there and all of a sudden, Rich is too rich for me and doesn’t want my business anymore. Fine. I’ll give it to places that love Jewish families and aren’t antisemitic monsters possessed by the devil.
