Phil is a wealth of information and will often walk you through the history of a card, though keep in mind he runs the shop solo while managing health battles, so service can be slow if he’s busy. Prices on modern Pokémon and hot unopened wax can lean high, but the trade-off is the personalized service and “luck” many locals find in this long-standing South Bay institution.
